Jessica and Alex didn’t let a little rain on their wedding day ruin the fun! We had a blast working with this amazing couple and their wedding party. We even found out what these Scottish lads wore under their kilts, but we’ll never tell!

Just a quick note to let everyone know that we are out of the studio today. We are off to Detroit, MI for a day of training with some amazing photographers! It’s time to do some more studying and freshen up our skills to find ways to stay inspired in a business where ‘everyone is doing it’!

I’ve been seeing this family frequently over the years, and I always love to see how the kids change and grow over time. What a lovely family, and such beautiful, amazingly co-operative kids! Lots of time there is a need for some subtle (and not so subtle!) bribery, flattery, persuasion, but with these two, they just love to have their photos taken, and I am happy to oblige!

I am going into the archives a little bit to share some of the weddings I didn’t get a chance to blog last year. When things are crazy-busy, often it’s the blog that gets neglected in favor of shooting, editing, and delivering images.
Trina and Chris were married at the beautiful Elmhirst Resort in Keene, Ontario on a gorgeous summer day. It was amazing to work with such a fun couple who were willing to let us drag them all over the resort for photos. I love it when all things combine to create the perfect wedding day….weather, location and a beautiful, enthusiastic couple that is ready to try anything for a good shot!

Joanna wanted to take some beautiful post-wedding photos of herself in her dress (not exactly to ‘Trash the Dress’, but to definitely enjoy it again!). The dress, the location and the accessories were flawless.
The moment I stepped inside the barn where we were shooting (and where she was married) I fell in love. It was perfect for a wedding reception, and even more perfect for a sexy, sophisticated post-wedding dress appreciation shoot!
