D'oh!

There’s a good chance that anyone waiting  for a return email from the past few days is going to be waiting indefinitely!  :S  I sent myself a test email earlier upon realizing that people were not getting replies from me.  Low and behold, there actually was a problem with the email contact form.  I just received a confirmation email after re-configuring the settings, and things seem to be back on track.  So please, if you have not received a reply, resend your message, and I promise to reply promptly!

One of my new years resolutions really is to try to do much better with maintaining and continuing our blog.  We really do appreciate your patience and understanding! 

The wedding season is shaping up nicely and we are ready to look ahead to the future and consult with brides and grooms about their big day.  This year, I am in the unique position of being a wedding photographer, and needing a wedding photographer!  The wedding planning process has made me all too aware of what my couples are facing each season.  What a huge undertaking!  I have to tell you, if it was up to me, my fiance and I would be exchanging vows on a sunny beach somewhere, but as it turns out, there are way too many people to be able who would not be able to join us.  In lieu of our destination wedding, we are having a fabulous wedding party in a beautifully refinished barn, with a DJ and live band!  Stay tuned for all the fun and stress of wedding planning! 

As always, we hope this new year brings great opportunity for happiness and joy to all of our clients and friends.  We are hoping that this will be the year that the poor blog gets the attention it deserves, so you may as well stay tuned for that too.  Crossing fingers here!

Luckily, we were able to rectify the situation through a serious of complex and frightening hoop-jumps, and here we are now, still the proud owner of this blog, but sadly missing more than a few recent posts.  We noticed when all was said and done that everything after August was deleted for good during the migration.  Oh well…we figure that it’s way better to have lost a bunch of posts, rather than lost the entire blog.  So here’s to good news and bad news, but thankfully more of the former than the latter!

Please bear (or is it bare?) with us over the next few weeks as we re-upload the posts we’ve lost, in addition to some of the new stuff.  So if you have a sense of deja-vu while reading some of our ‘new’ upcoming posts, of course, you are correct.

Whatever the reason, we always love to help couples capture the joy and the passion that they share, and give them another reason to smile. 

(PS…you don’t have to take YOUR shirt off for your couples boudoir, but the option is always there.    It’s whatever you are comfortable with, but pants stay on, of course! )

Trina and Chris were married at the beautiful Elmhirst Resort in Keene, Ontario on a gorgeous summer day.  It was amazing to work with such a fun couple who were willing to let us drag them all over the resort for photos.   I love it when all things combine to create the perfect wedding day….weather, location and a beautiful, enthusiastic couple that is ready to try anything for a good shot! 

The moment I stepped inside the barn where we were shooting (and where she was married) I fell in love.  It was perfect for a wedding reception, and even more perfect for a sexy, sophisticated post-wedding dress appreciation shoot!
